- <p> "You can be a girl and play an instrument and still be
- feminine," says striking Dutch saxophonist Candy Dulfer. You
- sure can. In fact, Dulfer's blend of sax appeal and sex appeal
- has already made her a major celebrity in Europe, as well as the
- next big thing in the U.S. She turned up in a Prince music video
- and at recording sessions for Aretha Franklin and Van Morrison
- before breaking out with a smart debut album, Saxuality. Next
- up: her first U.S. tour. So what's a nice girl like Candy doing
- smashing musical stereotypes? "The saxophone has a beautiful
- sound," she explains. "Plus, you're always in the spotlight."
